What is the Microdermabrasion Treatment Like?

The handpiece also contains a suction component that vacuums dead skin cells as they are exfoliated, producing a sensation similar to a massage. Then, while the skin pores are freshly opened, the DiamondGlow® device infuses the skin with SkinMedica® Pro-Infusion Serums. The full process lasts approximately 30 minutes, but can vary depending on the size of the area being treated.
What Can I Expect After Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a popular skin care treatment because it requires no downtime or recovery period. You are immediately able to return to work and other normal activities following your procedure. You may experience mild swelling or redness after your treatment, but this typically fades within a few hours. Your skin will be highly sensitive to the sun after treatment, so it is important to limit sun exposure and use sunscreen if necessary.
